Chris Dentice Registered Valuer Director, Kapiti Valuations Limited
Chris was born in Wellington, and in 1961 he joined the Valuation Department in Wellington. He completed his Diploma of Urban Valuation at Auckland University and continued on with the Valuation Department until 1969 when he became a Registered Valuer and also completed his BCA Degree at Victoria University. The same year he left the Valuation Department to join Gordon Harcourt Limited (now Leaders Real Estate) as a valuer, and the next year left to form John Harcourt and Associates.
Mr Harcourt died unexpectedly a year later, and Chris subsequently formed the partnership of Dentice, Gordon, Kirkaldie and Co, and C J Dentice and Associates and in 1987 amalgamated this practice with Rolle Associates Limited.
In 1999 he and Bryce Grant opened the Rolle Associates Paraparaumu office, and in 2003 they struck out on their own and formed a new practice, Kapiti Valuations Limited.
This has since grown to four Valuers, and is the largest valuation practice between Wellington and Palmerston North.
Chris has been a resident on the Kapiti Coast for 27 years, and accordingly has extensive knowledge of the local market, having seen the area undergo considerable change and expansion over his period of residency.
He specializes in Commercial Valuations from Porirua to Otaki, and also undertakes residential and lifestyle valuations from Pukerua Bay to Waikanae.
Chris has been married for nearly 40 years, and has three married daughters and two grandchildren.
His interests include association with the Coasters Musical Theatre, being taken on long walks with his dog, travel, and gardening, and he is proud to be associated with the Rotary Movement.

ANZIV (Associate of the New Zealand Institute of Valuers) , SPINZ (Senior Member of the Property Institute of New Zealand), Dip Urb Val (Diploma of Urban Valuation) , BCA (Bachelor of Commerce and Administration), Registered Valuer.
